Based in Oundle in a small bungalow, lovingly referred to as Dovedale, we offer mental health support to Oundle and its surrounding area. We aim to support local people to recover from mental distress by offering a safe environment and providing opportunities to meet others, learn new skills and become part of the local community. We have experience in helping with: anger management, anxiety and depression, loneliness, panic attacks, stress, OCD and low self esteem. We also understand and have a wide range of information on all mental Health issues including BiPolar, Schizophrenia, Paranoia , Post traumatic Stress Disorder and Post Natal Depression. We are an NHS preferred provider and receive referrals from practitioners. We also accept self referrals.
Our Mission Statement
Our aim is to help those suffering from mental distress to integrate back into the community through group work, one to one consultations, home and hospital visits, individual advice, support and signposting to statutory and voluntary help. Dovedale belongs to the people that use it.
